Forgot to do my EPL predictions for yesterdays games but luckily there is a few on today plus we have the NFL later on in the evening.

EPL Predictions

Tottenham vs Liverpool – Liverpool played Stoke off the park last weekend but failed to score and in this league that isn’t good enough.  Look for them to bounce back against an average Spurs team with a 2-1 victory.  Score 1-2

Fulham vs Man City – Fulham are really struggling at the moment whereas Man City look like they could score 4 each week in the EPL.  After a disappointing Champions League debut I think Man City will come back strong today.  Score 0 – 4

Sunderland vs Stoke – Not sure how pretty a game this will be to watch but look for Stoke to have a similar performance as they did against Liverpool and Kiev.  Sunderland just aren’t as good as everyone things they are and I think Stoke win this by a couple.  Score 0 – 2

Man Utd vs Chelsea – The big game of the weekend in England and Chelsea might already see this as must win game.  Look for Torres to give the ropey Man Utd back 4 a hard time and Chelsea to sneak a win.  Score 0 – 1

Rangers vs Celtic – One other big game this weekend is the Old Firm derby in Scotland.  Both teams are pretty poor this season and this could lead to an exciting championship race.  Traditional these games are close and I think this could end up a draw.  Score 1 – 1 with each team getting a red card.

NFL Predictions Week 2

SEA @ PIT – Steelers to win easily since they will have practiced hard all week after getting hammered by the Ravens.

OAK@BUF – The Bills will look to continue their fine form from last weekend and it is very rare for a West coast team to win on the Eats coast.  So taking that into consideration I think the Bills win again.

ARI@WAS –Washington showed that they have the defence and the QB to be competitive in the NFL but they need to perform like that for more than one week. Arizona struggled by the Panthers last weekend and the secondary gave up a pile of yards, therefore going for a Redskins win.

TB@MIN –TampaBay should get past a very poor Vikings team.  From last weeks performance I would say that McNabb is officially done.

JAC@NYJ – The Jets got lucky on Sunday night football against the Cowboys and they need to improve this weekend.  Revis is unlikely to be a huge factor since the Jaguars will run the ball much more than they throw it.  Jets to win by 6.

CHI@NO – The Saints looked good on offence last week but terrible on defence.  Williams will have had the D training hard all week and they should come with lots of blitz’s to try and fool Cutler.  Saints to win.

GB@CAR – A great start to the season for the defending champs and the number draft pick last week.  Though this timeNewton will be facing a much better defence thanArizona’s.  Green Bay should win by 10 or more and I can see the defence having at least a couple of picks.

BAL@TEN – Probably the performance of week 1 from the Ravens and they should breeze by a poor Titans team.

KC@DET – Time to see if the Lions are for real since this is the first time they have been favourites for  a long time.  The Chiefs will be much better than last week but unlikely to be good enough.

CLE@IND – Without Manning the Colts aren’t even average, Browns to run all over them.

DAL@SF – Cowboys and Romo to bounce back with a victory against the 49ers.

CIN@DEN – Broncos should sneak through this one but it will be close.

SD@NE – This is the game of the week and should produce lots and lots of offence yards.  Brady will do his usual and throw another 3 or 4 TDs.

HOU@MIA – The Texans will be looking to start 2-0 against the pants Dolphins.

PHI@ATL – Vick returns toAtlanta with his dream team, mean while the Falcons look like a team that aren’t sure of what they should do (run or pass).  Falcons to shock everyone with a win.

STL@NYG – The Rams to sneak a poor game that will have everyone wondering how they even made this a MNF game.
