Champions League Final

Well tonight is the final of the Champions League and I have to admit that I really couldn’t care about the result in anyway.  It is the first time I have felt this way about one of the major competitions in the world.  I think it is down to my hatred of Man Utd and Chelsea.  

 

 

Tonight I think Chelsea will win with Ballack having a big game for them.  I feel Ballack will be good tonight since he tends to come alive in big games.  So prediction tonight is 3 – 1 to Chelsea.  Man Utd having been playing good football lately and they were fortunate to win the league in the end.

 

In other sports news the NFL could fall apart with the notification of the Collective Bargaining Agreement being cancelled in 2011.  This will result in there being no salary cap, which is likely in teams trying to freeze players with high salaries out of the game.  It will be interesting to see what will happen over the next couple of years.

Back again!

Well it has been weeks since I lasted posted anything on this which is strange since I actually have ore free the now since the S4 are not in school.

 

Lots of things have happened since my last blog.

• Liverpool lost the Champions League Semi-Final (boo)
• The Hotspurs season finished in the same sorry state it started.
• The San Antonio Spurs are tied 3-3 each with the Hornets and game 7 looks like it could be a classic.
• My knee is knackered and I need an operation on it.
• The Misses and I have bought a new house.

 

Really excited about the new house since it is just what we wanted.  The pleasing thing was that we managed to sell our own place in a week and at the moment no one else seems to be.

 

Hopefully this week will be nice and relaxing since the last few have been mad.
